Just a brief post of the awesome deep fried dim sum we found with one of our fellow teachers and friend. We had tempura style crab, shrimp, crispy seafood salad "pots", the Korean version of egg rolls and more. We also had some delicious spicy noodles with shrimp and octopus (we're eating a lot of it! But we still need to try the live one...soon, haha) and a sizzling beef platter full of delicious onions, bell pepper and garlic cloves. Yum.
Afterward we met up with some more of our teacher friends and checked out some of the local nightlife in Hwajeong, including this place that served giant beers for less than $5 and had wonderfully chilly coozies built into the tables. We hung out for a few hours sipping our beer and talking. It was a good Friday night.
