Delicious Curry in Hongdae

This is our 100th post!

One of our friends and coworkers brought us to an amazing curry house called Abiko Curry in Hongdae today. Coincidentally, it is almost right next to our favorite tuna house, haha. We had some fantastic fried pork cutlet with rice smothered in spicy curry sauce, then topped off with a raw egg and ribbons of green onions. It was great! The place itself was fun too. It was super tiny and warm inside with lots of wood everywhere. Peppers hung down from ropes and steam wafted up as the open kitchen bustled. Random Japanese toys like AstroBoy littered the little shelves. Random but very comfortable.

After stuffing ourselves with delicious curry we went back out into the chilly Seoul air and hopped onto the subway over to Yongsan. Nick and I have decided that we might be interested in buying an SLR camera and we wanted to check out prices and models. We have been doing a lot of research and we have come to the conclusion that it might be worth it for us to invest in a nicer camera since we do take so many photos and we do like to travel so much. Too often we have tried again and again to capture a shot that our digital camera cannot catch. We've been doing so many exciting things and we want to make sure our memories don't end up blurry like some of our pictures. Our friend who brought us to the curry house has owned SLRs before and is also shopping for a new one so we figured we could all go together. It is an added bonus that she can speak Korean and so we were able to ask the vendors more questions that we otherwise would have been able to. We spent some time handling cameras and making comparisons. We aren't ready to buy just yet but it was nice to get a quick feel for the heavier cameras.
