It's Coooold Outside!

Today Nick and I returned to the Arabian Buffet that we tried out a few weeks ago...it didn't get more than a few degrees above freezing today and we thought that spending a few wonderful hours surrounded by delicious food was a great idea. We bundled up against the cold (jackets, scarves, gloves, earmuffs - the works!) and trekked down to Itaewon. We were most pleased with our long lunch and again stuffed ourselves to the brim with moussaka, lamb, lentil soup, hummus, cucumber salad and more. After we finished our two hour long meal we were given a full tea service. We enjoyed our red tea in the delicate glass cups and gold rose teaspoons and then faced the cold again to get home. We like that all the subway stops now have festive Christmas trees, bringing holiday cheer to all the travelers.

We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and amusing ourselves with old episodes of America's Funniest Home Videos and Korean National Geographic episodes on TV. Despite the lack of narration, we learned that Honey Badgers are SCARY animals not to be messed with. They eat snaaaakes!!!! And have very cute babies.

We were so happy to have a full weekend after a month of working on Saturdays. We are now
seriously counting down the days until Christmas and our Thailand vacation...19 more days!
