A Whole Lot of Lotte World

Welcome to Lotte World!!!

This morning we woke up and decided to have an awesome Sunday caper. We hopped on the subway and ended up in Jamsil, home of Lotte World, Korea's indoor amusement park. Opened in 1989, it hosts 8 floors of awesomeness. Roller coasters, shows, parades, rides, a bowling alley, ice skating rink, a huge arcade, a shopping mall, restaurants galore, a bug museum, a folk museum and more!

We went on several fun rides, had some sweet treats, and were completely blown away by the visual wonders Lotte World had to offer. It was such a fun day. We ran around Magic Island, their outdoor section with some of their larger rides, like the Gyro Drop. I bought an amazing polar bear hat with attached bear claw mittens! We went ice skating and enjoyed the balloon ride over the whole indoor section. We caught their Christmas electric light parade complete with a Korean Santa Claus and dancing fruit and snowmen. It was a wonderful experience.
